2012 Keating 'Encomium' Cabernet Sauvignon

Encomium (Latin) means "enthusiasm and warmth in praising a person or thing." I have dedicated the fourth vintage of the extremely limited production Encomium to my winery dog, Leo, who was born in 2011. I always choose one barrel of my Sonoma 'Montecillo' Cabernet and one barrel of my Napa Beckstoffer Georges III Cabernet resulting in a 50/50 cross county blend of high quality Cabernet Sauvignon. I have dedicated the fifth vintage of the limited production Encomium to my youth coaches, Larry Arterberry and Mike Osborn. Production is always limited to 50 cases.
